Production Manager (Loan Partner)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Manager to support Loan Originators throughout the loan lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing loan files from application through submission, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a smooth borrower experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and experienced in mortgage operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews loan applications. Maintains, organizes, files, records, and manages all documentation related to mortgage applications, real estate collateral, and insurance policies.

• Run loan scenarios, AUS, and assist with pre-approvals

• Handles inquiries and document requests from clients, realtors, and colleagues.

• Order and track third-party services (appraisals, title, verifications, transcripts, etc.)

• Ensure accuracy of all file data, including income, assets, and insurance documentation

• Alerts underwriter, LO, clients or other staff of any missing records, documents, or other irregularities in the mortgage application process.

• Reviews 1003 to update from services ordered.

• Review MI & re-run AUS following review for Underwriting.

• Follow up on outstanding items for submission.

• Prepare file for re-submission for CTC.

• Milestone comments.

• Accountable for turn times and file completion for closing.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Solid understanding of the mortgage loan process

• Experience with Encompass or similar systems preferred

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred

• 3+ years of mortgage, lending, or related administrative experience, specifically in the processing field

• Prior mortgage processing experience required

Work Environment

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer

Compensation & Benefits: 

• $17.31 per hour plus $550 per file bonus
